Drawing on strong engineering fundamentals in vehicle design, analysis and testing, GS Engineering can design and build custom test equipment for your product evaluation and validation needs.

GS Engineering can handle the project from the concept to budgeting to design and sourcing components, assembly, debug and final assembly at the customer facility. GS Engineering will perform finite element analysis where needed to ensure the test equipment has the structural integrity to withstand the grueling test schedules.

GS Engineering outsources the major fabrications to its vast network of suppliers. The equipment is assembled and debugged in the GS Engineering highbay facility complete with a crane, jacks and a fork truck.


Representative Test Equipment Projects Include:

Suspension Characterization Rig – GS Engineering worked with MTS to design and build a test rig with innovative suspension travel, G-loads, and frequencies.

3D Adjustable Table – GS Engineering designed and built a test stand over a large bed plate. The test rig can apply loading in longitudinal, lateral, and vertical directions. The overall test rig stands about 15 feet tall by 8 feet wide by 12 feet long.
