Jim joined GS Engineering in 2005 and continues his successful career directing and performing Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) activities. Jim leverages his previous aerospace experience, as well as his established working relationships with leaders in industry. Jim directs a diverse group of analysts, executing a broad range of simulation activities in support of GS Engineering’s programs to customer, industry, and internal standards. Jim’s thorough analytical engineering approach allows for customers to have confidence in simulation results throughout the execution of their programs. Jim has specific program experience on a wide range of vehicles from ATVs through the largest tracked vehicles. Working programs across DoD, commercial industries such as construction and mining equipment, and aerospace has given Jim the breadth of experience to introduce a unique viewpoint into your simulation challenges. Jim and his team also have experience with a wide range of varying materials, from austempered ductile iron, to carbon-fiber and metal-matrix composites.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
