Human Resources & Office Manager

Melissa joined GS Engineering in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant, quickly moving into the role of Office Manager. Over the years, she has been dedicated to learning the operations of GS Engineering, and committed to supporting the employees in ways that promote camaraderie and a trusted workplace. In her current role as Human Resources & Office Manager, Melissa is responsible for maintaining and ensuring proper execution of Human Resources processes and standards, with focus on sustaining a professional office environment mixed with team activities that encourage relationship building and mutual respect across all positions, functions, and roles.

Melissa has a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University in Applied Ecology and Environmental Science and has completed formal Human Resources Generalist training. Resulting from many years of experience in customer focused and process-oriented positions, Melissa values teamwork, positive attitudes, open communication, and personal connections.
