Our mobile testing team can bring our services to you or leverage two private test courses located in the northeast or southwest. Past Performance
M88A2 Hercules In-Vehicle Adjustable Torsion Bar Technology
Engineered a simple and robust running gear solution to maintain all current vehicle functionality during extreme demanding recovery operations.
- Produced a prototype on a GFE M88A1 vehicle.
- Testing with 20-ton payload, full vehicle.
- Final solution was significantly lower cost for nearly same functionality as compared to Hydraulic Suspension Unit (HSU).
- Planning for Kit development to retrofit many of the M88A2s.
Past Performance
Turret Mechanism
Re-engineered the previous Turret Drive Mechanism which suffered from mechanical failure.
- Final gear box solution was comprised of bevel gear sets, precision machined components and a spring-operated clutch.
- The unit was produced using many different processes including precision machining, welding, specialty coatings, heat treating, etc.
- Special Packaging Instructions were developed for the unit.
- The turret and all hardware were successful implementation in the field.
